YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Services are available for youth athletes from the age of 7. Common reasons for referral of youth athletes include:
- emotional dysregulation
- anger management difficulties
- attentional challenges
- low self confidence
- negativity
- interpersonal challenges with teammates, parents, siblings and coaches
- trauma related to bullying and maltreatment
- performance anxiety
- understanding how to parent a youth athlete
If you are interested in sports psychiatric consultation, please obtain a referral from the child's physician
